Updates about STAR Intellectual Quest Camp.
Monday!
Met up w/ the other facilitators. Me, Weiqi, Ummu, Yeehui, Eileen, Sathia & James. Had lunch (nothing to do with Chicken! Haha!) at Bedok, took bus from Tampines and off to Chalet G. No one was there so we went to play at the beach. Shouted like crazy lah, me, Weiqi & Eileen. :D
Slacked at the chalet, doing certain tasks too. Watched TV & had pizza! Miss Low accompanied us at night, & Grandpa Lam came at 10pm with his daughter, KAYKAY! :D She's super cute luh. We played a never-ending UNO. Slept around two. 5 of the girls, plus Kaykay all on 2 single beds joined together = cramped fun!
Tuesday!
Grandpa Lam took Kaykay home. ):
Woke up god-damn early at 5.20am. Got ready & blah-blah-blah. Rahmah, who was so irritating 'cause she was repeating that she had no group to facilitate, & Naomi arrived. Then came the campers. I so love Group Two, WHATEVER! Marlyna, Lynn, Shiya, Shalini, Yiying & Minghow. :D They really showed perseverance lah.
Night-walk was so cute. They had to Trust, but sad to say, many of them were engulfed in their own emotions of fear in the dark. *cheyy! && listening to their conversations when they didn't even realise that I was eavesdropping was so comical!
Debrief for Facilitators. We were told not to help. Lol. 'cause we've been doing everything since Sec1, and it's time for them to learn. & we were sleeping everytime we could luh. Including dinner-time. Me, James and Ummu just slept. Lol! That night, facilitators slept in the living room at 2am. Oh great. Everyone died.
Wednesday!
Woke up at 5am again. Compared eye-bags. o_O! Continued w/the challenge along with Whatever! They improved greatly. I'm lucky to get a group with not much problems lah, only that they're too kiasu. :D
& imagine, how Proud I am. Whatever! had the unique performance(though it cocked up!), best communication skills at the charade, & emerged as 2nd! From 6th to 4th to 5th to 3rd to 2nd! They did it all, without my help. Not like others, which depended on their facilitators. Whatever! continued on, when I didn't gave them any clue. They managed even when they went to the wrong checkpoints. Now, I doubt there are other groups who went to the wrong ones. Cheers to Whatever!
Then-then-then. The other Sec3 STARS who were Sec3Camp de Campers came! Couldn't tahan, so all of us facilitators screamed in joy and hugged each other. So funny lah. The campers were staring at us, when we didn't meet for like, 4days after the Shanghai trip. We really are a family. Eileen & I had tears of joy! :')
Jocelyn & I had her nasi lemak. Had frisbee. I sucked lah, but I improved greatly OKAY! Then the others started doing the songs and stuffs they had in Sec3 camp. I was so sleepy with Weiqi, James & Sathia. Gagaga, Zzz. So we 'complained' to Mr Chan VP to send the facilitators to Sec3 camp. And he said, he would try. Haha. Thanks ah! He sang with us also. :DDDDDDDDD
Some male camper, whom I assume is Alvin Chong due to certain sources(-__-) left his dirty clothings including underwear with a little lorry. Dad sent Weiqi home. I took a longgggg time to wake her up. (:

Though we had less fun here at the chalet, and not at Pulau Ubin, we had a Plus point. We weren't the campers, we were the facilitators. I finally realised how my seniors suffered at camps. How late they slept, how tired they are. How hungry they are, so that the campers will have sufficient of everything. Certainly, an experience in my heart.
